Downtown East

DOWNTOWN EAST

The Downtown East is filled with history and historical landmarks. This neighbourhood includes the oldest parts of famous Gastown, parts of historic Chinatown, and a portion of the Downtown Eastside.

Many of the warehouses have been converted into high end condominiums, rental apartments and commercial spaces. 

The area is culturally diverse and has many culinary options to meet everyones tatses. Many festivals are held in the east area of downtown.
