KITSILANO

Kitsilano, known locally as Kits, is synonymous with the famous "Kits Beach". Kitsilano is located in Vancouver’s West Side along the south shore of English Bay, between the neighbourhoods of West Point Grey and Fairview.. This neighbourhood has played host to a number of annual events including: Vancouver International Children’s Festival, Bard on the Beach (outdoor Shakespeare festival), and the Celebration of Lights.

The area is mostly residential with two main commercial areas, West 4th Avenue and West Broadway, known for their retail stores, restaurants and organic food markets.
